Your data rights, explained simply.
As a Genju user or as someone whose data may be held by a Genju customer, you have rights under GDPR. Here's what they mean and how to use them.
Right to Access
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We'll send it within 30 days in a readable format.
Right to Rectification
If any of your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it. Most data can be updated directly in Settings.
Right to Erasure
You can ask us to delete your personal data. We'll comply within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep it (e.g. invoicing records).
Right to Portability
You can request your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) to transfer to another service.
Right to Object
You can object to how we use your data, including for marketing emails. We'll stop immediately.
Right to Restrict Processing
You can ask us to pause processing your data while a dispute is resolved.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@genju.ai with your request. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta: idpc.org.mt
